Stuff Parisians Like

Hello all! Long time, no blog. I have been pretty busy since Christmas, but here is a quick update:

I went home for the 2 weeks for Christmas holiday. My family plus Andrew and my brother's friend Jon went to Lake Tahoe for a few days of snowboarding and skiing, and it was really fun! I was still a little jet-lagged when we went but it was so worth it. I spent Christmas at home, went to some family holiday parties, hung out with KVB, went to LA to spend New Year's with Andrew's family, hung out with Pat, and had lunch with Alex, Nikki, Megan, and KVB... what a nice break at home! I felt really reenergized when I came back to Paris... not to mention that Andrew was coming with me this time!

Also while home, I decided to apply to law school! I had been thinking about it a lot in the back of my mind, and after talking about it with family, friends and Andrew, I decided that I really just need to go for it! So the last few weeks have been really busy with getting all of my applications, letters, resume, etc. in order. But I feel very excited about my decision and cannot wait to see what happens after I apply... I am just praying a lot and know that God will take care of me and will lead me in the right direction.

It has been pretty cold here since we all got back, like snowing cold! And windy, and rainy... this time of year is the worst as far as weather goes, but even still, I really love this city. Andrew's being here has a lot to do with that! What did I do without him last semester?? We have been trying to enjoy the city as much as we can, but his busy school schedule, my preoccupation with applying to law school, and the cold weather has hindered us... I can't wait until it warms up a little and I am finished with my applications! Then we can really experience the city of love!

So in light of the fact that I am a terrible blogger and never update enough, I am going to recommend another hilarious blog that my roommates love and told me about: Stuff Parisians Like. It is exaggerated of course, but very funny! Just to give you a little insight about living among Parisians...

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great 2010!
